Q: Is our system large enough to need the RVS billing system?

A: If you are looking for RVS solely to save you time in preparing and billing your accounts, a system with 100 to 15,000 accounts will benefit from RVS. In addition to saving you time, the information maintained can aid management in making decisions and help reduce water loss. It can also give the bookkeeper and manager greater control over the information needed to perform their jobs, which leads to better bookkeeping practices. The additional control makes it practical for systems with as few as 100 connections to justify the expense.

Q: What size systems does RVS support?

A: RVS currently supports systems up to 15,000 connections.

Q: How much training is required to use RVS?

A: The majority of our customers purchase our software with no hands-on training. Should you need help, the system comes with a comprehensive manual which shows you how to set up your system and how to perform day to day tasks. There are also context-sensitive help screens throughout the program that mirror the pages in the manual. Should you have another question or problem, we provide you with unlimited toll-free technical support, and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Q: Our system is small, do we need all the features RVS provides?

A: Many of our customers convert to RVS Utility Billing after previously purchasing software that seemed adequate for their needs at the time of purchase. Later, these customers found these programs to be too limiting. A system may not need all of the features that RVS provides, but should you need them later they will be available to you in the future. The overall design of RVS allows for flexibility and unlimited data to be stored on a customer or member.

Q: How long does it take to enter the initial customer data?

A: A system with a few hundered accounts can usually be entered in the system in couple of days. If you are purchasing RVS Mosaics after using RVS DOS, Mosaics will automatically convert your data to the RVS Mosaics format. If you are currently using another billing system and have a substantial number of accounts, please contact us because often we can convert your data for a small fee.
